Can I pull UGC from LinkedIn?

Yes! While LinkedIn doesn't currently support automated hashtag feeds due to API limitations on LinkedIn's side, you can still collect user-generated content from LinkedIn by pulling public posts that mention your LinkedIn Company Page.

This means that if you ask your customers, employees, or partners to mention your Company Page in their posts, you can automatically pull those public mentions into Flockler — no manual copy-pasting needed.

How it works

1. Encourage your audience to tag or mention your LinkedIn Company Page in their posts.
2. In Flockler, create a new Automated Feed and select LinkedIn as the source.
3. Connect the LinkedIn account with Super admin access to your Page, and select your Page.
4. Choose Public posts on LinkedIn mentioning your Company Page as the content to collect.
5. Moderate and display the mentions just like any other feed.

A note on LinkedIn hashtags

LinkedIn's API doesn't currently support pulling posts by hashtag, so a hashtag-based LinkedIn feed isn't possible right now. Mentions of your Company Page are the best available way to collect LinkedIn UGC until that changes.

If you'd still like to feature specific posts you find by searching a hashtag on LinkedIn, you can add them manually to your feed one by one — they just won't be pulled in automatically.
