How to Collect UGC Without Social Media Using Flockler’s Custom Forms


With Flockler, you can not only pull in existing content from your social media channels, but also collect UGC directly from your visitors. Our new Custom Form feature makes this easy.

Here’s a step‑by‑step guide on how to gather users’ content, feedback, and reviews on your site. 

Log in to your Flockler account, go to the Custom forms tab, and click [Create a new form]

Start from the ‘Fields’, where you can choose which inputs you want to include. To remove or add a field, just tick or untick the checkbox. 

To customise a field, click the settings wheel, and if you want to reorder fields, use the three‑line drag icon to move them into place.


You can also add custom fields if needed.

Choose what happens after a user submits the form: show a “Thank you” message or redirect them to a specific URL.

Next, you can customise the [Send] button, choose colours and text, and add CSS if you want the form to match your branding more closely.

At the end, name your form, select an existing section where form submissions should be added (or create a new one), and choose whether submissions should be moderated before being published or published automatically.

Once the form is created, you’ll be able to preview how it will look. If you want to adjust it further, just click [Edit style and settings], and embed the form directly on your website


Then create a layout for the submissions or add them to an existing one.
