Getting started with Flockler: a complete onboarding guide

Welcome to Flockler! We're excited to have you on board! Flockler helps you boost engagement, build trust, and increase conversions by seamlessly curating and displaying social content on your website, intranet, and digital screens.


πŸ’‘ Before you start adding content, it helps to understand the four core modules that power Flockler:

  • Feeds β€” Content configuration: where you define what Flockler should pull in
  • Sections β€” Storage & organisation: where your collected content lives
  • Content β€” Curation & management: where you review, edit, add more posts manually, and organise them 
  • Display β€” Layout & embed: where you design and publish your social wall

The flow is simple:

Feeds β†’ Sections β†’ Content β†’ Display

You always display content from Sections, not directly from Feeds.


Step 1: Sign Up for the Free Trial

Begin your 14‑day free trial β€” no credit card needed. Don’t forget to book a demo here to take most of your trial

Once inside the app, you can either:

  • Explore the sample walkthrough to understand the platform
  • Or jump straight into setup by connecting your own social accounts (see Step 2)

Step 2: Connect Your First Feed (Collect Content)

πŸ“„ A Feed is a configuration that helps you to pull in content from social platforms.

From the 'Feed tab', click [Add a new Automated Feed]

Our bot will guide your configuration with clear prompts:

  • Choose the Source
  • Select the content source (hashtags, accounts, mentions, etc.)
  • Create a Section to organize your content 
  • Moderation β€” choose how content gets approved: AI‑filtered, manually reviewed, or published automatically. More about our AI moderation here

Step 3: Curate Your Content

Head to the Content tab to view and manage your collected posts:

Here you can manage the content within your Sections:

  • πŸ“Œ Pin standout posts
  • πŸ”€ Drag and drop to change post ordering
  • πŸ“ Edit (Add tags, CTAs, and Alt text)
  • πŸ‘€ Hide posts you don’t want to show

  • Add manual posts directly to a Section from Sources (no Feed required)

If you’re using manual moderation, new posts will appear in your Inbox for review.


Step 4: Create and Embed Your Content

Time to head to the Display tab to showcase your content!

  • Social Wall (great for websites & digital screens)
  • Grid
  • Carousel
  • Slideshow (great for websites & digital screens)

🎨 Customise your display:

  • Select which Sections to show
  • Adjust colours, post elements, and formats
  • Add tag filtering or CSS in the Advanced settings if needed

  • Copy your unique embed code
  • Paste it into your website or CMS HTML code
  • That’s it! Updates happen automatically anywhere the code lives
