How to use Garde AI moderation to manage your posts with AI

Garde AI is our powerful new content moderation tool, designed to make managing your posts easy, efficient, and safe. With Garde AI, you now have the option to let AI handle content moderation for you.

Our AI moderation will help keep your content in line with your guidelines by automatically reviewing and filtering posts, hiding those that don't appear safe to display.

AI moderation currently supports only images and text. If your feed includes videos, they will not be reviewed by AI moderation, only the text will be.

Content Moderation Options

No matter your plan, you’ll have two moderation options included in your plan by default:

1. Display Posts Automatically

   Choose this option and any new posts from automated feeds will go live on your Section and layouts as they arrive — no manual review required.

2. Save All Posts for Manual Moderation

   Prefer to review posts before they go live? With this option, new posts from your automated feeds will be sent to the Inbox in your Content tab. From there, you can manually approve each post to ensure it aligns with your brand's values.

How Garde AI Moderation Works

All plans, including Basic, will see the Moderate with Garde AI option when setting up automated feeds. However, Garde AI is available only on Business, Pro, and Premium Plans. If you’re on a Basic Plan, you can easily upgrade to unlock Garde AI or reach out to us at team@flockler.com.

1. Select "Moderate with Garde AI" when setting up your feed (for eligible plans).

2. Garde AI will automatically moderate your content, filtering out explicit material, such as violent captions, or references to alcohol and drugs on images (please check the whole list of criteria here), ensuring only brand-safe content is published to your feed.
3. Approved posts by Garde AI will be published automatically into your Section on the Content tab, with a blue badge with a checkmark in the top left corner:

4. Rejected posts will be saved under Hidden Items in the related Section:

and marked with the same blue badge but featuring a minus sign. You can review, approve, or remove these posts as needed:

Moderation Limits

Each Business, Pro, and Premium plan includes a default limit of 300 moderated posts per calendar month, which resets on the first of each month. Track your moderation count on the Subscription tab anytime, and if you need a higher limit, our support team at team@flockler.com is here to help

What if you reach your monthly limit?

Once your quota is spent, any additional posts fetched by automated feeds set for AI moderation will go by default into the Inbox of the related Section for manual moderation. Such posts won't be marked with a blue badge:

Once the limit resets at the start of the month, Garde AI will resume automated moderation for new posts until the quota is spent again.
