How to set up a Wall or Slideshow for your event
If you don’t have a Flockler account just yet, sign up for our 14-day free trial.
After signing up or logging in, create auto-updating social media feeds and add your favourite channels. If you just signed up, you will be automatically directed to the feed creation flow, but if you already have an account, you can add more sources via the 'Feeds' tab.
In addition to social media channels, many events set up an upload form, allowing event participants to post images and text without logging in to social media. Learn more about Flockler’s upload form.
Next, go to the 'Display' tab and click the 'Create a new layout' button. For digital screens, choose either the Wall or Slideshow layout.
Important: When choosing the layout, make sure you select the version meant for digital screens and not the one meant for embedding.
After choosing the layout, you’ll get a link to show your Flockler on any digital screen. All you need is a laptop with a modern browser, and you can either plug it into a screen with a cable or mirror the screens using AppleTV, Amazon Firestick, and similar. If a professional event production company runs your event, they’ll have tools and software to run the Flockler URL for you.
You can customize the look & feel of the Wall and Slideshow without any technical skills. Click 'Edit style & settings' to change the colours, add a background image, rotate and shuffle the posts on the Wall, and much more.
