How do I create a TikTok feed?
From TikTok, you can gather:
-
Automatically: All videos from your TikTok account.
-
Curate manually: Public videos by any user and hashtag. Unfortunately, TikTok doesn't provide a hashtag feed yet, but you can add any public video manually.
How to gather all your TikTok videos automatically
-
Navigate to the 'Feeds' tab in the Flockler navigation. Next, click the 'Add a new automated feed' button.
-
Select TikTok from the supported channels.
-
Click to connect your account, and a popup window opens up. Log in to TikTok.
-
Select if you’d like to display TikTok videos automatically or store them in your Inbox for review.
That’s it. After saving the feed, Flockler gathers some of the latest videos from your account and keeps updating new content every 5-15 minutes.
How to add TikTok videos by a hashtag
TikTok doesn’t yet have a hashtag feed available for developer partners like Flockler, but you can add TikTok videos from any user or by a hashtag with a few simple steps.
On TikTok’s website, you can search for posts from a certain account or hashtag. For example, if your campaign hashtag would be #football, the URL would be https://www.tiktok.com/tag/football. You can replace /football with any hashtag to find different kinds of content and posts.
Similarly, if you are looking for posts by a specific TikTok user, you can add @ to the URL - and then follow with the user's name. For example, Loren Gray’s TikTok profile URL is https://www.tiktok.com/@lorengray.
Once you’ve found a post you like, click to open it and copy the URL of the video. You can find the URL at the bottom right corner of the page:
After finding the post, follow these steps:
-
Navigate to the 'Content' tab in the Flockler navigation.
-
Click the 'TikTok' button on the left.
-
Copy & paste the link to the post in the field, and a preview will open up. If you are happy with the content, click Publish, and the video appears in your social media feed.
How to display a TikTok feed on any website
After creating the feed and adding posts from TikTok, navigate to the 'Display' tab and select either Wall, Grid, Carousel, or Slideshow layout.
After selecting the layout, Flockler will give you an embed code. Click the 'Edit style & settings' link to change the look & feel.
The embed code is easy to add to any website. From our Help pages, you will find tutorials for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and many more.
Don‘t hesitate to chat with Flockler’s helpful support team if you have any questions.
