The Slideshow layout for display screens allows you to autoplay videos. When enabling the autoplay for videos, you can also choose the maximum length for the video in seconds. By default, the maximum play length is set to 90 seconds, and after that, the slide changes.
Newly created Slideshows will have this setting enabled automatically.
If the autoplay is disabled at the moment or you’d like to adjust the maximum play length, you can make changes in the layout’s settings. Here’s how:
Log in to Flockler and navigate to the 'Display' tab.
If you don’t have a Slideshow layout just yet, click the 'Create a new layout' button. If you already have a Slideshow for digital screens, click 'Edit style & settings'.
Next, scroll down to the 'Post settings' and enable 'Autoplay videos'. After enabling, a setting for maximum length in seconds appears ('Limit video duration'). If you disable this setting, the entire video will always play.
Finally, click 'Save changes' and refresh your Slideshow layout in the browser.
If you have YouTube videos, you might be keen to enable video captions/subtitles too.
