Can I autoplay videos on Flockler layouts?

When Autoplay is enabled, videos start playing automatically without requiring viewers to click the play button.

This feature is a must‑have for digital screens, where content needs to run continuously and hands‑free.

Autoplay can be enabled in Edit styles & settings for every layout, giving you full control over how videos behave across your displays.

Autoplay in the Slideshow Layout

For digital screens, the Slideshow layout offers an additional option. You can set a maximum video play length (in seconds). By default, this limit is set to 90 seconds, after which the slideshow automatically moves to the next post.

All newly created Slideshows have Autoplay enabled automatically.

If Autoplay is currently disabled or you’d like to adjust the maximum play length, you can update these settings at any time.

How to Enable Autoplay and Adjust Video Duration

Open the Display tab. If you don’t yet have a Slideshow layout, click Create a new layout. If you already have one, click Edit style & settings

Scroll down to Post settings and enable Autoplay videos, and change the Limit video duration by adding the maximum number of seconds you want each video to play.

If you disable this limit, the full video will always play.

Click Save changes and refresh your Slideshow in the browser.

Tip for YouTube Videos

If your Slideshow includes YouTube content, you may also want to enable captions/subtitles for accessibility and clarity.
