From Twitter, you can gather and display:
Tweets by any public Twitter account
Public tweets by a hashtag/keyword
You don‘t need to be an admin of any specific Twitter account, but you need to log in with a Twitter account when creating a feed on Flockler for the first time.
If needed, you can create multiple Flockler feeds gathering tweets, and display them all in one place.
Note that Twitter limits the history search of a hashtag to seven days, and Flockler won’t be able to collect older tweets at the start. However, after creating a feed on Flockler, all your future tweets will be automatically stored, and they won’t disappear from your Flockler account. If you gather posts by a certain account, we will typically store 20-30 tweets at the start and keep adding more over time.
Here’s a three-step guide on how to create a Twitter feed:
Log in to Flockler (or sign up for a 14-day free trial).
Click the 'Feeds' tab in the navigation and then the 'Add a new automated feed' button.
Follow the instructions of the bot to gather posts by any Twitter account or by a hashtag/keyword.
This one-minute video shows how to create an automatically updating feed gathering tweets from a certain account.
