Here’s how to add a social media feed to Squarespace in minutes:

  • Step 1: Gather posts from Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and more with Flockler’s automated feeds

  • Step 2: Select a layout for your social media feed: Wall, Grid, or Carousel

  • Step 3: Embed the feed to any Squarespace page

Step 1: Gather posts from Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and more with Flockler’s automated feeds

If you are just getting started with Flockler and haven’t gathered any content to Flockler yet, start by creating an automated feed. If you have content already, jump to step 2.

Click ‘Feeds’ in Flockler’s navigation and start gathering content from at least one social media channel. Here’s the list of supported social media sources.

Step 2: Select a layout for your social media feed: Wall, Grid, or Carousel

The next step is to select a layout for your social media feed and create an embed code. If you have already created an embed code with Flockler, jump to step 3.

Select your favourite layout, and Flockler will give you an embed code to add to any Squarespace page.

Step 3: Embed the feed to any Squarespace page

The last step is to add the embed code to your Squarespace site. It couldn’t be easier.

Note that you’ll need a Business plan for Squarespace to add any third-party widget.

Click to ‘Edit’ the page where you’d like to add Flockler.

Then add an element.

In the ‘Code’ block, ensure you’ve got ‘HTML’ selected from the dropdown and that you have NOT selected ‘Display source’. Copy and paste Flockler’s embed code to the field and click ‘Apply’.

Here you’ll notice the element saying ‘Script Disabled’. Don’t worry, that’s standard behaviour on Squarespace.

Save changes and publish the site – the live-updating social media feed will then show up on your Squarespace site!
